While cruising the backroads My wife and I cam across the wheels and track. No info, posted at sight. Bottle is to show SCALE.
Any info on this? Thanks

Typical old railroad car wheels I'm guessing. Guess somebody thought they'd make an interesting display. I take it there was a railroad there at some time. I like the photo with the river in the background.

The company bio states founded in 1904. So though interesting, not connected to the Civil War

Thanks @Gettmore for the post. Possibly it was used for timber hauling. Here is a good video about a lumber mill up in Maine. The smaller tracks were part of mill operation moving the logs from the water.
