I recently found two anscestors that fought for the Confederacy.

Robert Nathaniel Dryden enlisted in Company H, 17th Tennessee Infantry. He was from Marshall County, Tennessee. Born on 12/18/1834 and died on 9/7/1898.

George Washington Parsons II enlisted in Company F, 41st Tennessee Infantry. He was from Beford County, Tennessee. Born on 4/19/1821 and died on 11/4/1903.

I've looked and can't find their service records. All I could find was what regiment and company they were in. Any information that can be found will be helpful.

A big and warm Texas welcome, wazup!

Make sure to use the search box for more info on any person, place, object, year, theory, idea, etc.

I have a g-g-grandfather, Confederate, who was wounded in Wartrace, Bedford County Tenn. It would be interesting to know if your family members had the opportunity to meet/run into/shoot my family member!

Looking forward to your future posts.
