Good Morning,

I found a photo of my 3rd Great Grandfather David M. Shearer. Having a hard time finding out which side this Uniform reflects. There are David Shearer's on both sides at Fold. Any help would be appreciated.

By coincidence, I discovered two distant cousins in Co D of this regiment yesterday. Was surprised to see out of 171 deaths, 164 were from disease.

Hello, one of my grandfathers was in Co. I of the 38th Alabama, his name is William J. Clanton.

Not to hijack your thread, but that Company were your ancestors in?
