Handguns Need help identifying gun

Would love any help in identifying this old gun I have from an ancestor. Not sure when it's from but any help would be great. Thank you!

It says "Connecticut Valley Arms Inc. Colonial
Made in Spain, Block Powder Only - Pistol .45 Caliber"
Because the barrel isn't blued I would think this was made from one of CVA's kits. Their kits were popular at one time . You would get a stock , lock , barrel and other parts and assembled them and finished them yourself . I would check to make sure it isn't loaded.
