I don't know about it, but it's a very well executed, stylish painting. I always prefer artists with a stylish (rather than a photo-realistic) approach to their work. As to the event pictured, it looks like a pretty exciting escape, but from what, I can't say. I hope someone else knows.

Wow! Just looking after blowing up to see... lower right hand corner is the authors name...Andy Thomas.

He did a beautiful job; great attention to detail. The colors used in the painting make the picture come alive. Thanks for sharing this awesome painting.

I like this art work very much, you can see the sense of action and movement as the men riding hard out of town. This is great stuff. Andy Thomas. I like what he paints.

Since I modeled for one of the soldiers, I could be accused of being slightly biased though ......... or a little vain.
