I remember bumping into Carl Sandburg's works on Lincoln, both The Prairie Years and The War Years, when I was a ninth grader in high school. Of course those volumes preempted my mandatory homework and studies. Funny how Sandburg has faded into the background by numerous authors, and feel as though you chose a well-gleaned subject thoroughly threshed. It had to be difficult writing the Bibliography, hardly to mention the content. I will keep my eyes peeled!
