I want to ask if some of y'all authentic reenactors can
review the gear I own & plan to buy and make sure it works.
To start off I own a J.T. Martin sack coat made by John Wedeward of Camp Randall QTM.
I know he's good quality. He's a good man too. I'll send images of the other gear I plan o buy. It's all several sizes larger & higher end so it'll sell for good money when I outgrow it.

For the future does the. 1855 Springfield Rifled
musket work for both sides through the entire war?
Yes, numbers were captured by the CS early and reissued immedietly. They would not have been traded in for anything else as they were viewed as a first rate arm by both sides through the entire war. Such an arm would have been prized by any soldier carrying one.

You have an excellent start my friend... look great.... and the biggest ( and most important) part of it is your mindset, drive and ambition to be the absolute best you can be.... something that so many others out there severely lack....

One day in the future when many of us sitting here are old(er) and grey(er)..... We will look across the field and see this sharp guy commanding a battalion on the field with perfection.... and we will pause and ponder... "Hey I remember that guy back when.......... "

Does anyone know about the quality of Russell Osmianski?
I know Dave Hull bought one. He seems familliar is he on here?
