US Model 1816 bayonet for sale.
Very nice silver condition.
15 3/4 in blade, with what I believe is known as a "Prow" tip
Interior socket diameter: .814 in
Socket length: 3 in
Mortise to front end of socket: 1.2 in
The number 19 is stamped twice on the socket, and the blade is marked with "US" over inspector's initials, "RJ."
All in all, a very nice example of a Model 1816 bayonet.
