Mobile Magazine Explosion

@Joshism

Thanks for posting this.
Most folks are not aware of any of these events in Mobile, Alabama.

Plus ... I'm so glad to see this guy's You Tube channel featured on CWT.
I've been subscribed to his channel for quite a while now.

The man is great !
He covers all history topics.
(from what cavemen ate ... to the artillery used by Napoleon ... and what went wrong with the space shuttle disasters ...just to name a few).

The History Guy knows his stuff.

But back to topic, a great post about the Mobile magazine explosion.

An obscure tragedy at the end of the war.
There was another cache of arty shells (over 400) that were found back in the early 1980's when they were building a wing on the Mobile Infirmary. aka the Mobile Hospital. Fortunately Tom Dickey help them clear them out.:D
