I have a repro minnie ball wooden crate marked 1,000 cartg's. How were The
Minnie balls placed in those crates? Loose or packaged in paper cartriges. Assuming the latter per the stenciling on outside of crate

They were placed in arsenal packs of 10 rounds per package w/ 12 percussion caps.
