Macaroni Italian Style

One cup of macaroni, two tablespoons of butter, two tablespoons of flour, one and one half cups of scaled milk, two thirds cup of grated cheese, one fourth cup of finely chopped cold ham, salt and paprika. Break macaroni in one inch pieces and cook in boiling salted water. Drain and reheat in sauce made of butter, flour and milk, to which is added cheese. As soon as cheese is melted, season with the salt and paprika and turn on to a serving dish. Sprinkle with ham and garnish with parsley.

I have no idea why it called Macaroni Italian Style. Just name of recipe in article.

I think they call it Italian style because that sauce is almost an Alfredo sauce.A Italian dish called Tortellini Alfredo is like that as they add ham and peas to the tortellini in Alfredo sauce.
