M1851 belt plate

Hello to all members! I am new to the site and am wondering if someone can help me identify the authenticity or not of this M1851 belt plate. Heavily tarnished. As well as the "keeper"? It looks unlike any I have seen. I sure do appreciate anyones incite.

Looks good from the detail and the pictures, but having it in hand is always better. Appears identical to Plate 657 on page 396 of O'Donnell & Campbell's "American Military Belt Plates" I do not see where Hanover Brass has duplicated this particular plate.

Package 4 is correct. It's an officer style with the integration of the wreath into the plate and is mid war from the fastener on the back. The keeper is incorrect and not the right shape to hook onto the plate though.

I don't believe it to be more than the length adjuster for the leather belt and not to hook onto the plate.

The other piece is the adjuster but they referred to it as the keeper.
