NF Looking for a book store

Hello,
maybe you can help me. I order books about the civil war from the US, I am looking for a well equipped store with an extensive range where I find what I'm looking for.
Until now I get my books from people from the US about eBay, the problem is that I mostly find one book by one seller, so the delivery-costs are higher then the book itself. Would be nice if I could get what I want from always the same place, so I would get more at one order and could spend more money for books then for delivering.
I know that the costs are high, I'm ready to pay the price, it should be a good deal for both sides.
There are so many good books about the civil war, I'm missing some in my bookshelf

Another shop (web site) you might like to explore is the Abraham Lincoln Book Shop in Chicago. This is a brick and mortar shop in downtown Chicago. They've been in business since 1938 and are well known and well respected. Despite the name, they pretty much do all things Civil War. I looked at the policies they have posted on-line, and I did not see any indication that they don't ship overseas. They certainly invite customers to call or E-mail with any questions.

This one is in between Waynesboro and Harrisonburg on Route 11. It is in sort of a mall. You can see two windmills from the interstate that are on the property.

I don't believe that I can see it from good old europe, but today many shops sell international

My favorite is the long gone Morningside Books. I long for the simpler days of Bob Younger's print catalog (even if those times were just several decades removed from the present).

As for findings old threads with the search engine, I find the search engine is more helpful if you already know the thread exists and can remember something specific about it (kind of like needing to know how to spell a word in order to look it up in the dictionary to find out how to spell it). There are so many threads here that using generic search terms often returns an overwhelming number of choices. Many members can remember specific threads and are happy to provide you the links to them.

In my home town many bookstores have closed, a couple have newly opened, most of them for a short time and then closed again. My favorite antiquarian bookstore had closed some years ago, I got there everything I wanted, it was there or he took care of it. But most of his customers changed to eBay or Amazon. I did'nt use until I have to, at any time there was no choice. This " books of valor " Shop is really interesting
