Often I find that local newspapers are far more useful than the big national ones. The NEGHS has been running a series in its weekly newsletter by Valerie Beaudrault on various local historical newspapers and cemeteries; unfortunately they aren't being archived. Today's newsletter contained a site from Fairfax County, VA: https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/library_newsindex/?utm_campaign=The Weekly Genealogist &utm_medium=email&_hsmi=200577182&_hsenc=p2ANqtz---pgn9rK-uJh5Alno4JEzGTkwC6Mzx_nMyISVwcTwLkoJMcDtB9eL3mpJixGKzohy9ElAalMgpaAvCu9tt5auVN7c8ww&utm_content=200577182&utm_source=hs_email. I tried it using Lee and Robert (to 1875)--and had 3 pages of "hits". Unfortunately you can't see the article itself (need to contact the library for a copy) BUT there is a good description given for each.

Nice! Local libraries can be great sources for newspapers - though often they have not had the money to digitize them and put them on the internet. Generally the library will offer a free or low cost way for those who can't come in person to get copies.
