My EVP picked up something . I asked it what I was wearing and it said "black" .and I was wearing all black. here's the pic of me that day

Other than the photo & weird EVP's, have you ever had any other strange encounters within the the Park ?

Over the years, I've had some strange incidents at historic sites . . . but I can't say 100% it was supernatural.

Yes! When @Bee and I were on Culps Hill in September it was weird how the atmosphere was vastly different to other areas of the battlefield. This happened twice. It was definitely spooky. We both commented on it at the same time.

I wish I could, but I've never experienced anything vaguely paranormal while on the Gettysburg battlefield, and I've been pretty much on every square inch of it over the years. I walk the ground a lot, places where many people don't go, but I've never experienced anything paranormal. Maybe I'm just missing it. The only thing slightly in that realm is that I never walk in Pardee Field because it gives the creeps for some reason. Who knows why? I never knowingly experienced anything odd there. But I don't even like to drive past it.

Yes, I have no problem taking a look at these photos. It's absolutely one of the more surreal parts of the battlefield- you feel it until winding back out into sunlight. It doesn't happen every trip but I've come home with images I was not trying to capture. Best were the 126th New York monument and Sach's Bridge. Had no clue at the time Sach's Bridge had hauntings attached to it ( little whifty, miss a lot. ) Posted photos from a trip, someone else pointed out orbs. Funny.

To scoffers, you'd have to say if there are ghosts- they're at Gettysburg, PA where men left the planet by the gazillion in the most violent way, with no hope of saying goodbye.

I think I can see two further images over to the right; one seems to be lying down on the ground and the other to it's left seems to be squatting down !
According to one account by a Park Ranger, a group of foreign tourists witnessed what they thought was a re-enactment at the summit of LRT, but were later astonished to learn that NO such re-enactment had been performed at that time !

Little Round Top has been the scene of some strange goings on, especially in the area where General Weed and Hazlett were killed. People report seeing a man dressed in a Union officers uniform laying on the ground. When they approach to see what the heck is up....he disappears.. Creepy

Well that's interesting you say that, as Weed was shot first & Hazlett went over to him bent down close to hear what he was saying, then got shot in the head and he fell across his friend's body.

You are missing the larger image on the left. Your drawing in the middle is on top of the images forward thrust leg. You can make out the wide brim hat on his head and follow down the line of his back. I also see the stripe on the legs of his trousers. Appears to have a mustache. Or we have a double exposure.

Yep....Colonel Vincent got popped placing his brigade on LRT, then General Weed placing his brigade was shot, then Lt. Hazlett (photo) placing his battery was shot through the head trying to hear what General Weed was saying after he went down. Talk about deaths coming in three's. Sheeeeesh!!!

Been looking closer at this photo. Outlined roughly the image I see (no have not been drinking) on the left moving to the right. Can make out a face,ear, hands,buckle, shoulder strap along with hat. Hope this attaches, compare side by side. What do you think? John

Hold an unmarked copy side by side with marked and I think you can make out the image. Now knowing where things line up it jumps out at me. "And miles to go before I sleep"

ehhh... all I see above where I highlighted is the tree/bush
I have an active imagination and can usually pick out the faces and shapes in rocks and trees and clouds in seconds.
This one is quite the stretch. I just don't see it at all other than what I traced around.

Take a look at the outline I just put up. "Bivouac of the Dead" Sure makes one wonder.

Welcome! I want to preface my reply with...I'm just trying to be funny.
What is this I've circled? it looks like an NC Tarheel coming down from the tree?
Pardon me for joking. I have taken thousands of pictures at many battlefields, points of interest, and I actually posted an awesome daylight picture of Henry House with what most definitely to me is a white "shape" gliding in front of Judith Henry and family cemetery. I think it's in this sub-forum "hauntings of the great rebellion" I actually have more images with anomalies especially from Gettysburg, Chancellorsville and Guinea Station but, the Henry House pic from Manassas is the most legible.
