I'm not sure where to put this. Recently someone posted this link. It has a huge selection of out of print e-books. I have been able to download the official reports of battle (order of battle?) of longstreet, bragg, and polk at chickamauga. I find it amazing reading their first hand accounts of what happened as well as those of their supporting officers in many cases. what a valuable tool for research! Thanks to whomever first posted it.
I am eternally grateful,

Thanks, I think

Not really sure how this works. It takes a while to load and every search I made, even Longstreet, came back empty. Can you give me a hint on what I was doing wrong?

In the search box at the top put in your search term like "Longstreet" "Antietam" etc. and choose text in the drop down menu next to it. When you click on the book or paper you want you will see on the left hand side what format to download (PDF, Kindle,Read online and others). I have a Kindle so I click on the Kindle option and save it. Then I drag it to my Kindle files.

Here is the page for "Longstreet" texts :http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=longstreet AND mediatype:texts
