Years ago, I had a friend whose uncle collected LeMat's and I had the pleasure of being able to handle several of them, my impression of them was that they were heavy and not very well balanced.
The LeMat must have been a chore to reload. I would love to own a replica but $800+ is way out of my price range. I rely on others to relate their experiences. I am relying upon your expenses.
The rest of you guys/gals let me know what it is like. It is probably heavier than a Walker and that is a big gun.
The prevailing commentary is that while gorgeous pieces of artwork, they are problematic shooters with weak loading levers. Most owners buy and sell theirs unfired (myself included), so bottom line would be 'you ain't missing much'.
