I'm in the process of transferring all of bullets, and tidbits ive been meaning to do, into riker boxes. Today im tackling the trinkets my grandfather recovered while in the CCC at MP'4, known as Camp Wilderness cleaning up and establishing the battlefields for the NPS in 1933,,he was a rock hound, so his eyes never left the ground,, and he cleaned up a rifle pit and sifted thru the dirt by hand and found a few shoeboxes of stuff and kept it separate from everything else. I know a little bit of info, but anybody recognize what may be the hardware fir a knapsack? This stuff almost looks to me as it's all from one person. My grandad was very insistent that these things be kept together, and not mixed in with other relics he found. For some reason this box of stuff had really special meaning to him as he was very careful with it, compared to other things he found. He did say than occasionally they recovered scattered remains while cleaning up, but never mentioned anything specific
