I really feel sorry for the buyer, when it comes time to sell or trade and be told it's worth $100. Something needs to be done with eBay allowing this type of activity. The Confederate artillery Kepi is even worse.

100 dollars is a high value lol. I feel little pity for people who want to spend that much money on an item before educating themselves first.

I would think that even during the rebellion a cap with a 15th Corps badge would be rare, given that most of those guys wore hats and wearing corps badges wasn't that big a deal in the western armies anyway.

The seller is at it again, only this time he has two post war caps that he has adorned with insignia and buttons.
