Kentucky windage

Kentucky windage: A technique of compensating for range,wind or other conditions by aiming slightly high or just to one side of a target.

Yep, that's what we called it when I was growing up, target shooting with an old .22 with a slightly bent sight, or plinking cans at a secluded landfill. I used to be pretty good at it.
