I took my son to Kennesaw Mountain today (10 October 2022) and as I was walking up from the "dead angle" at Cheatham's Hill, I walked through a cold spot. It was a 75 degree day and instantly feel cold in an isolated area made me question, Why am I cold? After a little research, cold spots have been reported on the battlefield to include sights and sounds. I took a photo on Cheatham's Hill and there is a weird discoloration in the left corner and all other images from the hill were crystal clear. Trip was great all the way around.

I've never been there but there is a cemetery back home that has Confederate veterans intered there. By their graves there are occasionally cold spots, which most pleasant in the Florida heat & terrifying to some.

When I'd go there I always said, "Thank you, gentlemen," when I left. They have gates it off as too many kids were tromping around at night.

Fascinating stuff.

Facing south down the Confederate line. Bottom left side of image has a weird shade to it. (On Cheatham's Hill just before the dead angle and about 100 yards from the cold spot I felt.

Yup. Over the years that exact spot within a few feet has had people report exactly what you sensed. Myself included. It was particularly strong for me on one occasion where I got disoriented. And I know the place like the back of my hand, and I'm not necessarily a supernatural believing person, but the energy in those acres is palpable.
