I posted this CDV of Joseph Bailey and his wife in the naval forum about the Red River Flotilla that he help save by his engineering feat. So I figured I would post it here also and if you are interested learning more about this lesser known event you can find it there. The General Orders pictured here are from the Congress, Senate and President Lincoln thanking him for his saving the flotilla from being captured or having to be destroyed.
