Hi all,

Just a quick question. If anybody has a copy of "Brevet Brigadier Generals in Blue" (Roger Hunt) could they please take a photo of the entry for James E Curtiss. Commander of the 152nd NY Infantry?

I've got Curtiss' MOLLUS and AOTP medals and am in the process of doing research on him.

Thanks in advance for any help!
Kyle

I have the book but it is in a room where someone is sleeping now. 🙂 I'll check in the morning if nobody else does.

Nice set. I guess you got it from Everitt? Do you think that the AOP ribbon is original?

Everitt also had his MOLLUS and AOP membership certificates, as well as a copy of his service records at one point. I hope that you got those too. I'm sure that you have his photo by now.

Do you have Frances' pension file? It is likely to include a lot of info about James' service and family.

Here you go but you probably knew this much about him already.

Thanks Bob!

Great to see a picture of Curtiss in uniform. Every photo I've found of him thus far has been in civilian garb.

And yep got it from Everitt with the certificates and the big binder of research. Can't speak to the ribbon on the AotP but wouldn't surprise me if it was a replacement.

Edit, here's a photo of the certificates on my wall.
