Well it's almost that time of year …when days turn crisp and a darkness creeps quickly in to end our day. Yes Halloween and in some places it's all year long.

Jackson's Memorial Monument rests close to one of the "sites" of his wounding at C'ville. Back then the battlefield was a part of the Wilderness and site of horrible deaths due to brush fires from the hot action.

IMHO These mists vapors airs dews fogs smokes I capture are mostly unknown to me and I play the dumb tourist and snap pics later looking and seeing something odd, strange, an anomaly. If one can pry back and free the mind to other options perhaps you can catch a glimpse too.
