"Maj. Caskie" was apparently Major William H. Caskie, a Virginia artillery officer.

I will add that there IS one fugitive drawing or sketch of Jackson "out there" somewhere. Virginia Confederate Congressman Alexander Boteler wrote of how he made a sketch of the sleeping Stonewall taking a nap on his cot when the subject awoke and asked if he may see it. After looking briefly at it, he changed the subject altogether and requested Boteler to go to Richmond for him on a mission; nothing more was said about the sketch which presumably could still exist somewhere!

In the sketch, the uniform collar shows three stars. Didn't that insignia denote the rank of colonel, rather than major?

You can plainly see the "wreath" around the stars, which in this case is rendered as dashed lines. I'll also comment on the length of Jackson's hair which is also a match for the Minnis photograph, and about which Anna Jackson stated was unusually long for him at the time, making it all the more likely that this was copied from the photo. (Unless of course Caskie was sketching at the same time - not impossible, though then naturally the date would be wrong.)
