I just found this. Raised lettering in the back. Here's some pics.

I can't make out the back without doing something to the button. Can anyone read the makers mark?

Looks like WATERBURY BUTTON CO. They had rmdc ( raised mark depressed channel) backmarks like that.

Yeah. I guess it just says Waterbury Button Co. with no Scovill.

Correct. Waterbury and Scovill were different companies, both in Waterbury.
