Interpretation of diary entry

In my 2x great grandfather's diary, the words in the attached image appear. I'm having a hard time discerning what they say. Are there any 19th c. handwriting experts to help me out? The words in question are "was mustered out of the Mja Bay Cape Munsen". I know from his discharge paper that it was signed by a G.D. Munsen (or Munson) and the word Captain appears to be on the next line down on his discharge, so I think it reads "by Capt Munsen (or Munson)." What I can't make out is the "Mja" since it follows "was mustered out of the, I assume it was a place or his unit? I'd appreciate all suggestions, thank you.

I'm not clear how to find your signature so I may look at your diary.

The signature in posts is usually found below any post a person writes (if they add one at all), so it's at the very end of a post, sort of on the outside of it, in a different color. Think of it like a signature on a letter.

Thank you. This is not a question, rather an acknowledgment of all the help I've received from members over the last few months. I've been working on having my 2x great grandfather, Daniel Mounts, diary transcribed and asked a lot of questions on this forum. Each time, numerous members have responded, pointed me in a direction or offered their interpretations. I'm including his diary in a book with pictures, documents, and an introduction that I've written and in the acknowledgments have included members of civilwartalk.com. Thank you all!
