Just read an account of The Battle of Monroe's Crossroads aka " Kilpatrick's shirt-tail
skedaddle" in Burke Davis' "Sherman's March." Marie Boozer was the woman who
accompanied Kilpatrick from Columbia. BTW CNN's Anderson Cooper is his g-g-grandson.

Oh, my goodness! What nice color! Personally, Judson Kilpatrick is not my cup of tea in the looks department. I think General Ulysses Grant is outrageously handsome ("He gives me the vapors!"), General G. Mott is very handsome too in an oddly "modern" way... heck... to my standards General William T. Sherman (who as someone on here stated "now there's a man who cuts his own hair") is much better looking (rugged) than Kilpatrick. What were the ladies thinking? I wonder... didn't he claim that he was an actor at one time? Maybe he had some sort of magic charisma that is lost on us today.

I did see this photo on-line and even though I still don't think he's anything that would make me a "camp follower" I can see that he might have possessed that charisma I mentioned above. Maybe? Perhaps? Ummm... sure.
