KY Hidden Confederate Cemetery

* The most sobering grave at this cemetery is this 15 year old Confederate soldier.

If you decide to visit the Battle of Richmond and the Battle of Big Hill sites, send me a personal message for any assistance. Just south of this Confederate Cemetery and Wayside Tavern are 3 Confederate graves on private property. I believe these Confederate soldiers perished during the Battle of Big Hill (cavalry engagement). The Battle of Bill Hill was the prelude to the Battle of Richmond, Kentucky (1862).

* If you visit the Confederate Cemetery and Jones Tavern, please wear long pants with a leather gym shoe or boot. Why? Snakes!!!
