I have finished Heros von Borcke's memoirs of his time in the confederate Army. I like von Borcke, also his Story in the prussian Army. But I think he told the Story, lets say, from his view. I can't find many sourcess about him. What other confederates think about him. I put his name in the quick search here, nothing. On YouTube there is also not much. Maybe someone knows where I can find more?
I think he was famous in the confederacy, his sword is still in Richmond, presented to the Public, there must be more

Lt. Col. John S. Mosby, the "Gray Ghost" made some notice of Von Borcke's memoirs after the war, without favoring them for historical value...

I think, Mosby is not one of the confederates who likes von Borcke, I read his comments before and they were not very fiendly. I think, Borcke sometimes is too satisfied by hisself, Just a feeling. That's why I like to know what others think of him. Thank you

General Jeb Stuart himself thought a great deal of Mr. Von Borcke as a soldier...

Not Just as a great soldier, they were good friends too. Borcke wrote in his book about Stuart's death. That Stuart said at last to him that he was the man he loved most
