To assess the find we'll need: accurate diameter measurement, accurate weight, photos that show both sides.

Lots of things look like cannon balls but aren't.

Well they xrayed it could not tell anything so they took it to blow it up to be on safe side

It wasn't solid but for some reason their x-ray machine had trouble penetrating it, they said that they had to blow it up to be on the safe side , but they are going to send me a video of it blowing up and bring me a chunck of the schrapnal

It's rather small and can be left over from the British Siege of Charleston (1780).
