Hi everyone.My first time here and looking forward to participating here.I have been researching my great great grandfather and the 26th Regiment NC Infantry he served in. He has alot of interesting history.Fortunately he lived through the Civil War and lived to the age of 86.Also he wrote a article for the local newspaper and documented many of his experiences in the war which I hope to share here on the forums.
