Has anyone read this book?

How did I miss this? Sounds like a good one, C.M., from the reviews. Right now I'm doing mindless drivel and probably will till mid-June.....my mind is totally fried and I just need something to read for five seconds till I go to sleep. But if someone here reads it and recommends it, I can see a future purchase looming. This area is my weak spot, and that became apparent at last year's Hood's Brigade symposium. Hope someone (mt155) will read it and report back!

That sounds absolutely fascinating. Bragg, Chickamauga, and I guess analysis of Longstreet all hit me pretty hard in the weak spot- so book number 148 on the list it is! Thanks for the heads up. :)

Sounds interesting. I'll have to check it out. I do wish Kindle prices wouldn't have gone up so much lately though. I guess maybe it comes with the territory as they have become more popular.

I wish I could get into this type of book. I just loathe reading about the politics behind the scenes with the Generals. Blah.
Give me a good regimental history or battle book on troop movements and I'm all over it!
