The Smithsonian Institution in the national Museum of American History. William Driver, One family, and two flags. One has to do some real research to determine which flag to believe, and what story. They have them both. The Roland flag, Nashville born, is thought to be the true flag, as it is large than the Cooke flag 12 feet. It has a more provinance to it, having been in the hands of the Tenn. State Museum.

Thanks for posting the link. No, I have not. I recall hearing about a man in Nashville who refused to take down his American flag during the war: now I know "the rest of the story"....

I've been to the Smithsonian when it was displayed so yes, I've seen it.
