Gordon Rhea is coming to the Ann Arbor Civil War Round Table this month. I am tentatively planning to attend. Rhea has written several books, so what do you think of his books?
Is this even a question?
Rhea is coming to Ann Arbor and you are "tentatively planning?"
The guy is like 90 years old. Get up and go hear him, for crying out loud.
Not even close to 90 years old. Gordon is about 70, still very vigorous, in good health, and still practicing law full time.
OK thanks, but my point still stands. If he's in the neighborhood, go and listen. I'm sure we can agree on that.
All five on the Overland Campaign are musts. No qualification.Gordon Rhea is coming to the Ann Arbor Civil War Round Table this month. I am tentatively planning to attend. Rhea has written several books, so what do you think of his books?
Seconded. Id' add that iI think all but the last are in soft cover now, which makes getting them a less expensive proposition.I would recommend adding "The Battle of the Wilderness" , "The Battles for Spotsylvania Court House and the Road to Yellow Tavern" , "To the North Anna River" and "On to Petersburg."
