Now Florida but always a Kentuckian
We sold our house in Kentucky. It is suppose to close by end of June.

My husband is finally retiring. He has had a job since he was 14 years old. I told him we need to rest and enjoy our golden years.

I will still be on Forum and posting recipes and threads on foods and host Food Forum as long as you all want me to.. I will have to learn a lot about Florida cuisine. Have posted much on Kentucky fare which will always be a favorite.

Looking forward to a new experience and another phase in our lives.

Now you will be with us old folks.

captaindrew Have house in Ocala, Florida.
That's great! IMO the prettiest part of Florida but it's a bit warm in the summer. Maybe you guys can come visit us at some of our reenactments next season, there's a nice event right in Ocala in November. If you guys make your way to the East Coast for anything look me up.

What is the event in Ocala? We been to Ft. Fisher. They are improving it.
It's held at the Florida Horse Farm just off I-75 the exit where the Don Garlett's Museum is. When the schedule comes out for next season I'll give you the date. Our reenacting schedule down here is October - March. You can check out the schedule at floridareenactorsonline.com but next season isn't up yet last I checked.
