Thanks for posting those. It just goes to show that the CW wasn't that long ago; my father was thirty when that photo was taken.

There were movies taken of both the Gettysburg and the Vicksburg reunions of 1913 & 1938, too. I have a DVD compilation of all the known footage. Pretty moving really.

I believe the first photo was from the 1913 reunion, not 1938.

The first photo is from the 75th anniversary reunion held in 1938. Note the small number of veterans compared to the 50 anniversary held in 1913.
