I do regret that I didn't get a chance to spend much time visiting with folks. The downside of leading tours is that I'm working the whole time, and that limits opportunities to socialize quite a bit.

I will be back in Gettysburg for a few hours on Sunday. It won't quite be the same. And hopefully, Hurricane Matthew will not bother us.

Thanks again to Ryan for his great tour of Seminary Ridge. The photographs were a nice touch and remarkably the misty rain held out during your presentation. It was one of the highlights of my trip.

Good, good, JW! Maybe a love story between Buster and one of the townswomen who was helping with the nursing, but they have trouble communicating. Another between a Sickles and a female soldier, who also have trouble communicating, because he keeps wanting to change his position. A couple of dogs thrown in. I can see it now!
