Custer's servant (freed slave Eliza) in photo from 1865 Texas-website for the museum down in Austin, Texas (Neill-Cochran House) when Custer was sent there in very early-reconsruction says she was treated well(Eliza alludes to this) Conflicting historians and other website BS are against Dave Ingall ,Historian at Monroe, Michigan where I enjoy hearing positive stuff about Custer.Custer stood up for the Plains Indians vs. corrupt gov't. Any C- War references to his views on slavery?
