Everything looks fine to me except his skin. It looks like it could be darker.
It's funny, I actually brightened it because I thought it might be too dark on other monitors.

I'll edit in the darkened version and leave the bright version as just a link.

Well, what do you think? In a side by side comparison do his fingers seemed more defined in the darker photo?
 
As a cavalry officer, he would mostly be wearing a hat and gauntlets. But the coloring on his face could be taken to be wind burns. I like it.
