Garlic has always been treasured for its medicinal values. There have been claims that garlic helps lower blood pressure, reduces so called "bad" cholesterol, cure's athlete's foot, leprosy, cancer and gout. It is also suppose to clear sinuses and good for colds.

One healthful recipe is Garlic Tea.

3 garlic cloves, peeled and lightly crushed
1 tea bag such as chamomile or lemon
1 cup boiling water
honey

Place garlic and tea bag in cup. Add boiling water and allow to steep until brewed as desired. Sweeten to taste with honey.
