Gabriel Coil, Revolutionary War

Hello,
My ggggg-grandfather, Gabriel Coil, served in the Revolutionary War, although I do not know what unit or when. He lived in Virginia

According to "History of Pendleton County" he furnished supplies.
According to Brumbaugh, "Revolutionary War Records" he received land in Ohio for service.

Can anyone help?
