1 lb. sugar
1/4 lb. butter
7 eggs
1 tsp. soda
sour milk
flour
Instructions:
One pound of sugar, quarter of a pound of butter, seven eggs, a teaspoonful of soda dissolved in sour milk, and as much flour as will make a soft dough. Make them in rings, and bake in lard.
