Friction primer?

Wanted to rule this out. I've had some say it could be part of one. Others say blasting cap for dynamite. One end slide on to something, it's crimped. The other end looks like a wire or something small went in the hole. Thanks for looking .

Friction primers have some kind of stop to keep them from dropping into the breach. This piece of copper tubing is too long to be a friction primer.

On the other hand, a length of copper tubing with a crimped end could be any number of things such as a decorative bangle.
