One of the most scenic places for landscape photography has to be Harper's Ferry, W. Va.; here are shots from a visit in 2014 - above, the little cemetery on the hillside overlooking the town.

These are all along the relatively new part of the park along Srtonewall Jackson's position on Schoolhouse Ridge:
