Does anybody remember what was the first book you ever read about Abraham Lincoln? The earliest book I can remember is Meet Abraham Lincoln by Barbara Cary and Jack Davis. I can recall checking the book out of my local library when I was about six years old.

I do not remember the title, but I read one as a child-preteen.
Own Sandburg's books in paperback, but still waiting its turn.

Did read Team of Rivals.

Same here. The first full-length book I ever read about Lincoln was a year or two ago: Team of Rivals. Great book, though a bit hagiographic- he was a great man but Goodwin seemed to think that he had no flaws whatsoever!
The difference, Hanna, is that you're getting started about 40 years earlier in your life than I did!!

That was my first as well. It was a Landmark book from Random House. I must have been ten when I read it.
