I'm trying to find more information about this unit and especially it's Captain E.A. Fernandez. I saw on find a grave a very basic headstone just with his name no date of birth or death or even what his E.A. stands for. I see on fold3 there was a female Antonia Fernandez that rode with him. I find him and his unit very interesting and strange and hope anyone can shed more light about him and his unit.

Capt. E.A. Fernandez ws in a mounted compamy with Supply Force in Florida

Before that,he was a Sergeant in Company G,2nd Florida Infantry. He was wounded and captured at the Battle Of Williamsburg. He was imprisoned for awhile,was released,got a medical discharge as an infantryman,then re-upped(so-to-speak) as a Quartermaster. He lost a foot/part of his right leg at Williamsburg. There are 25 pages in fold3 about all that.
