Hello- I have a very good quality, recently purchased navy blue/union forage cap (aka "bummer')- size large, it is a little loose on my head (problem solved by putting some tissue paper in the sweatband)- my head measures about 23", so that gives you an idea- I wear an XL in most modern hats- I recently purchased w/ a 'starter uniform' from C and C Sutlery- only worn a handful of times, buttons and front leather band still shine- top of hat falls well in front of cap- I want to switch to a 'McDowell' trim bummer, as this one is a the later model- asking $30, but willing to consider a trade for a blue McDowell bummer size large, if it is decent condition.
