Okay, quick question: what is the name of the farm on Oak Ridge in this pic? It's not the McClean farm, and it is no longer there. This isn't really a quiz--I just totally forgot it!

Anyone know?

In the 1920's Forney field had an Airport. Located on the West slope of Oak Ridge.
G/B Airport. Offered air tours of the battle field ....
At the very southern point of the field there is a square slab of concrete or stone near the Stop sign to the left. I was told that was the base of the ticket booth to pay for the air fare ??????

It looks more like a trap and skeet range to me, but it still makes you wonder why it was put there.

I saw that today (and I've seen it before) and suspected it had to do with the airport.
