I like the idea that someone here has the thread about home weapon and relic displays and there's a number of real good ones. I was wanting to see what kind of displays people have for events or reenactments to show the public.

Here's 2 of mine from gun shows. Packing it up and getting out of there on Sunday translates to not too many photos. :running:

This was, "Confederate Blades from England" at Dalton, Ga. {Don't have a clue who the Old Dude is !!!}

This was "South Carolina / Muskets to Trapdoors" at Franklin, Tn.

Outstanding and I would hazard a guess that the "old" guy is a somewhat more mature and wiser version of your avatar (the 'stache and the smile gives it away):happy:.

I have displayed at a small event for years, while missing last year. Friends that had joined in have moved on but at the peak this decade, there were tables full of modern and antique arms from the viking era to Vietnam. I hope to get out again this year but physical limitations are making it more difficult. Probably many fewer swords this year.

My adventures there started in 2003 and I have only missed one of two days in 2006 and last year (weather and weary). I am hoping to get out with a handful of diverse swords from the 17th century into the 20th century. It has always been a bit of show and tell.

Very cool, I have a small collection of long guns and hand guns but I want to start up a collection and display for Sabres and other edged weapons

@Lanyard Puller All I can say is WOW! I wanted to ask about one of the rifles in your photos from the Chickamauga show. In the gun rack in the third photo, the gun at the top of the rack looks like some kind of lever action carbine. Can you provide info on it.

Thanks
